Each port is also equipped with auto-sensing capability, which facilitates automatic configuration based on the speed and duplex operation of an attached device. Drawing on another innovative technology, this switch uses Auto Uplink to adjust for cabling type so you do not have to worry whether to use straight-through or cross-over Ethernet cables.
